A 4 part series in the footsteps of german immigrants to the United States. Following the early menonites from the 17th century to the desperatly poor farmers of the 18th centgury to failed revolutioneers of the 19th century. The films will focus on personal experiences of known and unknown immigrants who helped building the american nation.
